Can this be used in lieu of sterile saline to cleanse wounds? I understand it is not FDA approved for such use, however, inasmuch as it is purely water there should be no restrictions on such use.

You're right that we have not tested our product as a cleanser for wounds. We therefore cannot make any claims about its effectiveness in this area. We have, however, tested the technology for toxicology safety when in contact with eyes, skin, ingestion, and inhalation. The test results are the best scores possible. The EPA allows us to market the product without a chemical-related health warning label.
